Incredible, touching, informative article from NYT about 60-person kidney donation chain

This is a pretty incredible story from the NYT about a 60-person kidney donation chain. Aside from telling a compelling story, there’s a lot of great information about kidney donation in it. As a young guy blindsided by fluke kidney failure six months ago who is currently on dialysis, this really hit a nerve (in a good way). I’m overwhelmed by the selflessness of the original, good samaritan donor and how fortunate the 30 recipients are. As a tech guy, I also enjoyed hearing about how advances in computer-driven matching made it all possible. Thanks for the heads-up, Mark Rusch.
